Jimit Patel

I'm a postgraduate cybersecurity student at UTS with a full-stack engineering background. After two years building authentication systems and production web apps, I moved toward offensive security — where understanding how software is built becomes a real advantage in taking it apart.

My focus is web application penetration testing and the emerging space of AI red teaming. I learn by building and breaking: a self-hosted attack/detection lab, custom Python network tooling, an automated Essential Eight compliance auditor, and ongoing prompt-injection research against large language models. I'm active in the Australian security community through AISA, australi.ai, and UTS CSEC, and I keep sharp with CTFs and Hack The Box.
